Categories

The Product Category Subcategory field is a required field for all Amazon Schemas.

As far as we could determine, Amazon is currently supplying templates which have been modified to a new standard format where the category must be unique and consist of 3 levels.

In the PIM, inside the field information, you can find out which values are allowed. This must be unique for every product. This point is well worth emphasising as previously the templates had the possibility of choosing category and subcategory and up to 5 levels of search nodes.

Because of the newest Schemas, ASF does not support multi-category for a product. Therefore, the search nodes field remains obsolete for a while and out of the Schemas for all Amazon product types.
