The Amazon SP-API connector offers a test synchronization that allows you to validate the information before sending and publishing the content on Amazon.
For the initial setup, we recommend exporting only a few products. To do this, you can add a tag to the product(s) we want to test with and add that same tag to the connector's Output data tab so that it only exports those.
Once we have verified that we do not get any errors, we can move to production by changing the type of synchronization. If the synchronization is successful, you can continue with the rest of the products.
IMPORTANT:
- The Amazon SP-API connector is available only for certain product type schema and countries, which Amazon progressively releases.
- If we sell our products in several countries it will be necessary to configure a connector for each market (country).
- Likewise, if our products are included in several product types, it will be necessary to configure a connector for each of them, since only one product type can be selected per connector.
- Although initially the Amazon Sales Layer connector was developed to connect Vendor accounts, the Amazon API also allows connecting Seller accounts. The operation to synchronize the data is the same but there are some differences in the initial configurations as well as some particularities specific to Seller accounts.
