In May, the new version 1.8 of Shopify was released which includes the following:

Compatibility with a Shopify API version from 2024-01.
Synchronization status by elements: The implementation of this new tab allows you to get a complete report of the results of the last synchronization classified by item. Filtering by items, date, and error code has also been introduced for quick searches.
Activity Register: This is updated when refreshing and not just at the end of synchronization. During an ongoing or completed sync, this tab will show a summary of the current status or outcome, as well as, general authentication errors with Shopify.
Mapping multi-language values to the handle and product type fields in Shopify.

Datahash system: the new datahash system excludes synchronization items if they do not contain real changes in the PIM. The verification carried out is a comparison of what was exported by the API previously and the current content of the item, where if no changes are detected between the two versions, the connector will discard the synchronization of the item obtaining a more optimal synchronization.
Refresh of connector: the refresh action is removed when a change is made to the connector. To synchronize the store you will have to refresh the connector manually from the button enabled for it.

Note: No customer action is required, connectors will be updated automatically.
