With this update, we are bringing new functionalities to our Instant Catalog connector. Thanks to them, you  will be able to:

  • Add surcharges and discounts: it is now possible to add surcharges by zone, minimum order, or by tranches, adding fixed charges or a percentage.

Thanks to this option, if someone buys from an area where different charges apply, they will be able to select their zone and get the corresponding rate. At the same time, they will be able to add a discount code.

  • Possibility to sort the categories: with this new update, it will be possible to sort the categories within the catalog. To do this, you will have to add numbers in the category tree that you are sending to the instant catalog, and the connector will remove them leaving the categories in the order indicated, without showing the number.

You can use the following numerical nomenclatures:

1 Man, 01 Man, 1- Man, 1. Man 1.1 Shirts, 01.1 Shirts, and 1.1- Shirts ...

Warning: If you need to use the category tree for other channels and prefer to avoid nomenclature with the numbers for the categories, you can create a separate field with the numbers and relate it to the category name using a CONCAT formula.

It is also possible to send different orders for the various languages configured in the connector. For example, for the Man category we have Winter and Summer in Spanish, and in English, we have the reverse situation, Summer and Winter:

  • View the variants with their attributes in dropdowns:

From now on, as long as you have no more than 15 fields within the variants, you will be able to select the variant you want to buy from the dropdown menu:

If you want to activate this option, you must consider that it accepts a maximum of 15 variable fields ( short text, number, or list type)  and that you will need to activate, on the details page of the connector, the corresponding option.

By default, the reference, title, and price fields will not be displayed as drop-downs because they have their configuration and place in the catalog.

Tip: The order of the list-type fields will be the order of the field itself as imported.

Take into account that the order of the drop-down fields is set on the output data page and that the fields are dynamic, that is to say, if we choose a size, for example, only the values of the variants with that size will appear in the other drop-down fields.  

  • Filtering by field: Besides selecting the fields that you want the IC search engine to take into account, now you can also perform a search exclusively in a specific field. Thanks to the option to filter by field, you will be able to refine the search even more.
