When Google fetches the feed, it replaces the previous data source in full. As a result:
- Omitted items are unpublished.
- If an <item> no longer appears in the XML (for example when excluded from previous filtering), Google treats it as removed and will unpublish that product from the Merchant Center listings.
- Once the feed has been completely removed or replaced, the items in this data source will not be available for Shopping.
- Filter or status changes. If visibility filters or product status are changed in Sales Layer,so that a product no longer meets export criteria,it simply disappears from the next XML. Google processes that absence as a deletion.
