Note: this is only available from version 2.7.1 of the Magento Community/Enterprise plugin.
By default, the plugin adds the Sales Layer ID at the beginning of the name of a variant.
You can configure this behavior through the parameter in Sales Layer > General parameters of Magento, called Add Sales Layer ID to Product format Name.
By default, the value is “Yes”. You can disable it to avoid adding the Sales Layer ID to variant names. If you do this, it can generate duplicate errors between product and variant names. Since the variant name will not be visible in the front end, we suggest keeping this option enabled.
