Configurate Variants Names

Note: this is only available since the 2.7.1 version of the Magento Community/Enterprise Plugin.

By default, our plugin adds the Sales Layer ID at the beginning of the name of a variant. 

Nevertheless, we can configure this behavior through the parameter in Sales Layer > General parameters of Magento “Add Sales Layer ID to Product format Name”:

By default, the value will be "Yes", but we can disable it and avoid adding the Sales Layer ID to the variant names. If this is done, it can generate duplicate errors between product and variant names. Since the variant name won’t be visible in the front end, we suggest having this option enabled.
