The new version of the Shopify connector, v1.12.2, is now available. This release introduces an important improvement for customers working with Shopify metafields: namespaces that contain underscores are now supported.

Key update

From this version onward, metafields whose namespace includes the underscore character can be mapped in Sales Layer by writing each namespace underscore as three underscores: ___.

For example, a Shopify metafield using the namespace custom_attributes can now be mapped correctly in the connector using the new naming format.

This makes it easier to work with existing Shopify metafields that use custom namespaces, while keeping the usual metafield structure:

metafields_<namespace>_<key>
