When to Use the CSV Export Connector

Modified on Mon, 25 May at 5:35 PM

The CSV Export connector is the best option when you need flexible CSV files generated from your Sales Layer data.

Use this connector when you need:

  • Multi-language data exports
  • Separate CSV files for each table, such as Categories, Products, Variants, or Points of Sale
  • Custom CSV structures for partners, distributors, or internal teams
  • Data extraction for BI tools, reports, or transformation workflows
  • A consolidated ZIP file that contains all exported tables
i

Note: If you need marketplace-ready CSV feeds, it is best to use the CSV Connector for Marketplaces.

Common Use Cases

  • Export a full product catalog for a partner or distributor
  • Send product information to another internal system
  • Create a reporting file for analysis outside Sales Layer
  • Prepare a multi-language CSV export for localization or review
  • Download separate files for each PIM table
