Connectors permissions

If you have several users working on the same account, you might know that sometimes users accidentally change data or settings by mistake. For this reason, Sales Layer allows main users to set specific roles for each user in relation to each connector.

First of all, in Manage users you can decide if a user can see the Channel section, modify it, or even decide user roles for the connector (selecting Manage channels → Manage permissions).

1

Thanks to this permission, the user will be able to assign or remove permissions for each connector. When creating a new connector – once you have saved it – you can manage access permissions in Actions:

2

Click on the Connector Permissions option and choose whether you want the channel to be open for everyone or, on the contrary, private. This way, you can grant only certain users the right to access or edit that connector.

If a user does not have permission to view or edit a connector, they can request permissions by clicking on Request access:

5

Users with the Manage permissions privilege will get a notification of the request and will be able to grant or deny the view/edit permissions for that connector.
