Download data and synchronization

Once the connector is configured, there are two options to get the XML into Google Merchant Center:

  1. Manual Download: Click Download file and then upload the resulting XML file directly to Merchant Center.
  2. Automated Fetch: Copy the feed URL and paste it into Merchant Center so Google fetches it on a regular schedule.

     

Step1: Obtain the XML File or its URL: Download data from Google Shopping

  • Download file: instantly save the XML to your computer.
  • Shareable URL: use the generated link under Links for download automation for scheduled fetches.
  • Filename template: customize the output name (e.g. Products_CN34811H0523C4484_{Ymd_Hi}.xml).

 

Step 2. Add Products from a File in Google Merchant Center

Add feed in the Google Shopping

  • In Merchant Center, go to Products → Feeds and click + to add a new feed.
  • Select Add products from a file and choose Enter a link to your file.
  • Paste the connector’s URL.
  • Set the fetch schedule (e.g. every 24 hours at 12:00 AM).
  • Save - Google will automatically retrieve your updated feed on that schedule. Note that our URL updates info automatically based on the modifications in the PIM.
